The man is glib when it comes to technology, CG, and all those shiny things that really matter when you’re obsessed with providing a brand new silver screen experience.

Here we are, 10 years after TITANIC, and Jim still ponders the balance between human feelings and technology. No doubt he will illustrate the concept once again in his upcoming epic “Avatar”, a movie shot entirely in “Stereoscopic 3D” (Dont forget your pair of glasses), that is, Digital CG 3D, with a full blast of aliens, alien world, alien ships, and some more alien stuff.

It is guaranteed to make you wet your pants or, shall i say, experience a movie on a whole new cognitive level.

You ll be glad to know Jim has been working with Microsoft R&D Lab on this.. So this baby is the best thing years in the techno topnotch sandbox can produce.. or is it.. You’ll just have to wait till december 2009.
